This one has really impressed Steve here at the store. It is a very expressive and critical amp. It will make a great player sound great-er but will also do the opposite. You get out of it what you put into it. This to me is what really seperates good amps from great amps. The guys at Elmwood really know what they are doing and there is definately a reason that people are saying these amps are one of the best out there bar none! The M90 MODENA is the Big Brother of Modena M60 with the same superior functionality and external design. But - it differs from the M60 not only by it's muscular 90 watts, it's equipped with 2 KT88 poweramp tubes that runs on a significant higher anode voltage and the preamp is slightly modified from the M60. Due to it's higher performance the M90 has a special designed transformer for the power supply and a heat fan on the back side. If you hunger for the quality and versatility of a Modena M60, but with even more power and attitude - get a Modena M90!
